Jim Martin is a senior level healthcare executive with more than thirty years of progressive leadership experience. Entering the field as a psychiatric technician at St. Mary’s Hospital, Passaic, NJ, his career quickly advanced culminating with his appointment as CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY in 1991. As CEO of Good Samaritan Jim led the hospital’s strategic planning initiative resulting in the creation of an Integrated Health Care Delivery System known as the TriState Health System, consisting of three hospitals, two skilled nursing facilities, an assisted living facility and a home health care agency. Mr. Martin’s career is best characterized as “change management.” In every position he has facilitated the growth and development not only of the organization’s market share, but the growth and development of staff as well. As a consultant with CSM he has served as interim COO and project manager on several large turnaround engagements. Mr. Martin has also been a consultant in an employability and rehabilitation consulting private practice. Mr. Martin earned a B.A. degree from Wadham’s Hall College, Ogdensburg, NY and a MEd from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ.
